2021 WILL BE A RECORD YEAR OF INVESTMENT IN ROAD WORKS

This was expressed by the Minister José Luis Falero, who announced that it will be invested "around 575 million dollars"

Added to that figure are some 278 million dollars in works for the Central Railroad and another 33 million in additional works. The investment figure will be exceeded in 2022, the year in which it is expected to reach 870 million dollars. In this way, the Ministry of Transport and Public Works contributes to raising the quality standard of national routes and also to generating employment to grow the country's economy after the health emergency.

“We are convinced that there will be a regularity that the construction industry is asking for and that as a government we have the responsibility to accompany. We get Uruguay out by working together”, concluded the Minister.
