The transport fleet of our company was increased in recent weeks with the arrival of the new Volvo FH 460 trucks of excellent autonomy, which allow us to optimize the management of our deliveries as well as increase international transport of products.

These teams have various technological innovations, among which the absence of side mirrors, which are replaced by driver -oriented screens and screens. This change in the face of traditional rearview systems significantly improves the aerodynamics of the vehicle, which implies better use of the power of its engine, fuel savings and also greater driving security.

For all who we are part of Bitafal, Colonia Nicolich is our neighborhood. And Carrasco Victoria Street is the access road to our company and where our heavy transport equipment travels daily.

That is why in April we decided to carry out the task of recovering our street through the application of high performance asphalt treatment that significantly improves the circulation by it. In coordination with the Intendencia de Canelones, our team contributed machinery, raw material and specialized technicians, which in a few hours recovered a transit route of great importance for the entire area.

The treatment consisted of the application of a high performance chiping along the section that goes from Route 101 to access to our plant. This technique is distinguished by its effectiveness, by watering and giving good macrotexture to the existing pavement, combining Bitaflex Irrigation Emulsion 65 P40 with high -resistance recycled aggregates, specifically steeling arids of short -baking slag. A combination of elements that demonstrates our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

In total, there are 600 m of this central street in our beloved neighborhood, where many families travel daily, towards their work, schools and shops in the area.

One of the advantages that this treatment has is the rapid rehabilitation to traffic, since in a few hours the neighbors could circulate again on their street, but now in much better conditions.
