11th CONGRESS OF ROADS URUGUAYA
Last 8.9 and 10 November LATU received more than 350 players in the Uruguayan road in its biannual Congress.

The opening of the Congress was in charge of the President of the AUC, Ing. Gisele Pingaro, the Minister of Transport, Víctor Rossi, Director of Mobility of the IMM, Pablo Inthamoussú, the Director of LATU and IDB representative for Uruguay.
After the opening ceremony, Eng. Juan Campana, Director of Engineering Argentina National Roads Authority, held a conference on "The new management National Roads Authority of Argentina: technical update" showing great work being done in the neighboring country roads.
Within the thematic blocks, more than 30 technical papers were presented on Transport, Road Safety, Structures, Management and Maintenance as well as floors.
He BITAFAL group He participated with three technical papers on "Evaluation of membranes SAMI after 7 years in service", "First stretch of asphalt rubber mixes warm in Uruguay" Y "Evolution of a stretch stabilized with cement" with interesting findings on each of the technologies applied.
Conferences were given by Ing. Boris Goloubintseff (IMM) "State and Status of Mobility Management Center, a year of its implementation and operation", Francis Pumares in Spain in Block Road Safety "Certified Barriers", Ing. Shlomo Liberman of Israel "Bridges of prestressed continuous beams" and Dr. Ing. Luis Guillermo Loría of LANAMME of Costa Rica with two Conferences "Application performance testing design blends" Y "Evaluation of rheological properties of modified".
Besides a round table held on "Road Maintenance" where different visions 20 years of the first CREMA contracts with participants by the MTOP, contractors, and consultants were exposed IDB.
At the close of Congress there was a special session on the new edition of the Book "Status of Roads Uruguaya"After almost 14 years without being edited and awards to the best works by Block.
A distinction was also awarded as the best work of Congress "Bowstring arch bridges across the board" Ing. The exhibition was varied and new companies participating in it. The new addition was the outdoor exhibition with displays of equipment.
