Bitafal celebrated the end of the year and reaffirmed its commitment to continue growing.
On Saturday afternoon, November 25, the Bitafal team celebrated another year of achievements and closed 2023 with its entire team. The meeting took place in a private farm near the factory and was the opportunity to renew commitment and reinforce the company's values.
The event aimed to recognize the importance of production and all the changes that have been implemented, as well as the magnitude of the investment that has been made recently. The work carried out by employees throughout the year and the value of the company's human capital were especially highlighted. Santiago Kröger took the opportunity to point out that being part of Bitafal should always be a good experience for everyone. This good relationship that has been built consolidates the path of innovation, changes and improvements in management that the firm has been carrying out for some months now. He highlighted the focus on sustainability and investment for growth. He in turn highlighted that the obstacles they faced at the beginning of the year united them and strengthened them. “We have invested in various teams, always focused on efficiency,” he said and indicated that “the Bitafal of tomorrow is innovation and sustainability as the central axis.” “This year has been one of the most important years in the history of Bitafal, we have supplied 50% of the asphalt in a record year, almost 120 thousand tons of asphalt have been sold in Uruguay and we handle 60 thousand tons that have been a historical record” explained Kröger and added that a similar 2024 will come in terms of volume. He thanked each of those who are part of the company for their commitment and effort. He in turn announced a coming year with many new developments and growth. “We want to bring the latest things in the world to Uruguay,” he explained.
For his part, Claudio Kröger highlighted the pride he takes in the honest work of his collaborators, “you know, you see, you feel, we have had days with deliveries of 27 or 28 trucks,” which implies a great responsibility. “We have all been able to close ranks and move forward, I just want to talk to you about our gratitude,” and he added “honesty in our work is what makes Bitafal worth what it is worth in our market.”
For his part, Ignacio Kröger indicated that seeing that there are more than 100 people is moving, "there are many of us and when we are together we realize the dimension that the company has and it is also moving to know that they decide to dedicate a large part of their lives to Bitafal." He pointed out that one of the dreams that drives them is to ensure that within five years the company is the most recognized in the supply of asphalt products, synonymous with quality and on-time deliveries. Ignacio ended by thanking and pointing out that the meeting, in addition to being an event to review the company's milestones in 2023, is an opportunity for enjoyment, recognition of daily effort and a boost for what is to come from now on. .
