This is the PPP (Public Private Partnership) contract between the MTOP and the Autovías Cinco S.A. consortium.

The Contract is for the "Design, construction, operation and financing of road infrastructure on route 14, section: Sarandí del Yí - Lascano, and route 15, section: Lascano - Velázquez", for a period of 20 years and covering a total of 183 kilometers and an investment of about US$ 345 million.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, José Luis Falero, highlighted the importance for our country as it is a transversal work, which will generate concrete actions on routes 14 and 15. He also explained that the work will cover 183 kilometers and that the work will begin this year and it will end in 2024. “We are going to be very rigorous with the times”, he pointed out.

March 30, 2022 is the closing date for the reception of summaries of technical works. Works related to flexible pavements can be presented, such as research or specifications on asphalt materials, stone materials, hot or low temperature asphalt mixtures and surface treatments. Also on structural pavement projects as well as work on pavement construction and conservation, asset management and eco-efficiency in paving.
